Call for Papers

The Organizing Committee of the Coatings Science International is seeking scientific papers to be considered for presentation at the eight annual Coatings Science International Conference. Click here for the COSI 2012 flyer.

Symposium audience

The conference is intended for researchers and research managers, active in the field of Science and Technology of Coatings both from industry and academia. Polymer, material and paint chemists, as well as surface and interface scientists, formulators, designers and industry policy makers will find in this conference a broad platform for combining and exchanging the latest developments of their disciplines. The conference is especially attractive to those who appreciate in-depth presentations and discussions on a high-quality standard

Submissions

Authors are invited to submit a digest according to the format guidelindes before December 15, 2011 through the conference website. Authors are allowed to use from at least 400 words to a maximum of 4 pages A4, although this must include any figures, tables and references. The accepted papers will be published in the conference Book of Abstracts. For the abstract submission only Microsoft Word documents are allowed.

Please refer to the format guidelines for the Word template. Once you have ensured that your abstract meets all requirements you are kindly invited to upload the abstract through the online abstract submission system.

Final paper submission

Upon approval on 1 February 2012, authors will be invited to sumbit a full paper by 2 June 2012. The submitted abstracts will be published in the Conference Book of Abstracts, the submitted papers will be published in a Special Issue of Progress in Organic Coatings. All registered attendees of the conference will receive one copy.

The important dates of the conference for authors are:

  • December 15, 2011 - receipt of abstracts.
  • February 1, 2012 - notification of acceptance.
  • June 2, 2012 - receipt of full papers.
